Hints & strategie notes for this Deck
While seeding Search for Rebels download the Emblem of the Alliance card and with it The Art of Diplomacy later. In your first turn download Sherlock Holmes for your draw engine and Security Chief Garak via Defend Homeworld and report him via Crossover.
You can play for free each of your turns:
- Aramax ("Security Chief Garak"-related personnel via The Emblem of the Alliance, via Crossover)
- a Civilian via War Council,
- a Gul or Legate via Central Command.
Aramax adjust the lack of Science and Medical in this deck and with his second skill Greed, he is also immune against Unscientific Method, which is often used if your opponent plays with science-related dilemma combinations.
During the game discard The Art of Diplomacy for a hand weapon reporting to your Security Chief Garak, who can download a second one on his own. Download the more hand weapons with Yint or Fontaine (if you haven't drawn it already) and go ahead for the Kressari Rendezvouz, which gets 45 points with discarding four hand weapons.
You can also use Bareil's SD for a hand weapon, but to save it for the Borg Nanoprobes could be useful later. Furthermore you can use the special download of Morn for a Gold-Pressed Latinum, which can be changed into any other equipment (you can also add other useful equipments to this deck e.g. Ablative Armor , Breen CRM114 (Yint is an arms-dealer) or Plasmadyne Relay...)
Next try to solve Deliver Supplies with the Xepolite Freighter, which is easy to staff and surprises each time with it's range of 9.
Slow down the opponent missions attempts by replacing your dilemmas with a Q-Flash and let him encounter some nice difficulties (add Military Privileg for extra fun with Officer/Civilian changed classifications). In any case head for his computer skill personnels if you playing the Computer Skill related Dejaren Dilemma Combos used here and don't forget Cyrus Redblock enhancements.
This deck is vulnerable against lack of Engineer, which can be adjusted using the Engineering Tricorder (SD: Beverly and Wil).
Prevent opponent's personnel reports with Dixon Hill's Business Card (very effective if he's playing Delta Quadrant) and handicap solving his missions playing Kobayashi Maru Scenario on them.
Use Madam Guinan for discarding e.g. V'ger or I Hate You and use Dixon Hill for solving any mission where your solving personnel have died. You can even use Professor Sisko for solving your Mirror Quadrant mission (no one would expect this...) Add 15 bonus points to Cardassia with Legate Damar's For Cardassia! and earn 10 bonus points by downloading the Phoenix with What Does God Need With A Starship? in the Mirror Quadrant (or to Cardassia).
Also you can add Espionage: Romulan on Federation to this deck. Download Tallera instead of Security Chief Garak to steal opponnet's high point missions.
All in all this is a very stable deck which is capable to bear some throwbacks. I played it in many variations on five or six tournaments and had fun each time. The deck's name based on the epic gag of Monty Python's "Life of Brian" - The People's Front of Judea!
