    Class of runabout often named for Terran rivers. First commissioned in 2368. The following year, the U.S.S. Enterprise delivered three Danube-class vessels to DS9.

    It has slightly lower weapons that the original universal Runaboutimage, but the U.S.S. Danube has a nice bonus to make up for it - it reports free to any Docking Padsimage. (That is Docking Pads, not Runabout Pads, in the first errata announced for the Deep Space Nine expansion.) No Federation ship is cheaper to report or easier to staff. It's perfect for a Federation alliance with the Bajorans or Cardassians.
