    About this rule:

    Howdy all,

    We have made some small rulings to clean up things in both the Current Rulings and the Conversion Rules.

    In the Current Rulings you will find:

    • A clarification to how the Classic Communicator works.
    • The official rules to replace the blue ruling that made two part dilemas work the way that was intended. You do not discard them if no one meets the conditions for the first half.
    • A small change to the scouting rules.

    In the Conversion Rules you will find:

    • The use of Assault and Maneuver events is clarified, codifying a ruling made on the boards a few years ago. Specifically, they do not bypass existing 1E requirements for starting a battle, such as affiliation attack restrictions and the need for a leader.
    • Clarifies that cards which move opponent's personnel to your brig also capture them first.
    • The relationships between subtitle, keywords, characteristics, and lore are clarified.
    • The Intelligence listing no longer accommodates Ferengi Intelligence (since no backwards-compatible Ferengi cards have it).
    • Eliminates some words from the entries on ships and the Voyager icon, in light of situations that do not exist on backwards-compatible cards.

    The First Edition Rules Committee is scheduled to release rules updates on the first Monday of each month, if necessary.

    This update takes effect immediately.
