The following cards can be used as "matching commander" for Jovis:

The Jovis might not look like much at first glance. It's a Zibalian Class ship, after all. It only has 7 RANGE, and the WEAPONS and SHIELDS are totally unsuited to today's trigger-happy armada decks. It doesn't even have a Tractor Beam!

But when's the last time a ship downloaded its own staffing requirements? Not only that, its own matching commander? The Jovis will save you an important card play, suspending play to download Kivas Fajo (a good bonus in his own right), and letting you use the Ready Room Door you would have otherwise used to instead grab a Captain’s Log or Defiant Dedication Plaque. The pair will give you a much more respectable 9/6/9 - much more useful.

And don't forget the ship's special ability to capture an android on an undocked ship nearby, once per game. It's perfect for denying your opponent the Lore or Data (Prem) they were building their deck around.

    Combo:

    • Jovis + Kivas Fajo + Defiant Dedication Plaque + Captain's Log: Not bad for a second-class ship, eh?
