"I was lucky that thing had knees..."
    "That was not his knee."

With this dilemma you can figuratively do what you have always wanted to do to your opponents. That's right – kick'em in the "knee."

Agonizing Encounter, from To Boldly Go, can potentially stop up to four personnel. In fact, you can get four stops for only four counters, because the cost goes down by one for each headquarters the person facing the dilemma commands... all with only one overcome dilemma. This dilemma has amazing flexibility. If you are facing a dual headquarters deck, it costs two less, but can then only potentially stop three personnel. This dilemma has the potential to fail a mission attempt all by itself. You do not have to worry about combos, requirements to filter, or even leaving a lot of dilemmas under your opponent's mission. All you have to do is play this dilemma and name the appropriate skill. The potential of this dilemma is exhilarating.

Let's talk combos because I have the perfect combo for you. I know you have probably already thought of it, but humor me. Tragic Turnimage and Agonizing Encounter together can stop at least two personnel (if none of your opponent's missions have common skills... an unlikely occurrence), and up to eight personnel (if all of your opponent's missions have a common skill). For only seven cost, I cannot think of a better surefire combo.

Be prepared to see this card put a dent in all those decks using missions with similar requirements to gain a bonus, such as Jean-Luc Picard, Vintnerimage Biology decks or Tain Intelligence decks, for example. But don't try to avoid it by building a deck with missions that do not match. It will not be worth your time. The Borg can slip by Agonizing Encounter using Unyieldingimage. The other affiliations will have to stock Ohhhh! Nothing Happened!image. All in all, this dilemma will definitely see use in my dilemma pile.

    Live Long, and kick'em hard.
