Upgrate from 2.0/2.01 to 2.1 (closed)

This topic is for all users of ST2E Deckbulder version 2.x, how like to update thier version to the currently availible version of ST2E Deckbuilder. It explains what you have to do, when you would upgrade fom version 2.x to the actual version. If you currently use a version 1.x of ST2E Deckbuilder please read the instructions of the help text "ST2E Deckbuilder - Upgrade from version 1.x.htm"!

The main differences between the diffenrent versions are usually new cards from new virtual expansions in the database. Because of this, it is necessary that you delete the old version of the database (but only the database!), before you install the new version of ST2E Deckbuilder!

What's to do?

Search the "uct" directory on your computer (normally under c:/programms/uct"). There you have to delete the directory "datenbasis" and all sub-directories and files inside (your decks would not be harmed by this). If you can't delete this directory or any files inside (e.g. "no access") restart your computer and try it again.

Thats all! Now you can follow the standard installation process to install ST2E Deckbuilder version 2.1 (as discribted in the file "ST2E Deckbuilder - Install instructions.htm").
